Dongguan's total export value of LED lamps in the first quarter increased by 79.2% year-on-year

On April 24, Dongguan Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau revealed that in the first quarter of 2012, a total of 1321 batches of LED lamps were exported in Dongguan, amounting to US$42.563 million, an increase of 74.3% and 79.2% respectively.

However, relevant persons from the Dongguan Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau also pointed out that in the first-quarter type test of this year, the main problems were found to be that the signs and descriptions were not standardized, the temperature rise of the lamp body was too high, the structure was unreasonable, and the components were not up to standard. . The reason for this is that some manufacturers are obsessed with the standard concept that LED lighting fixtures should implement, or the customer's requirements are the main considerations, the quality consciousness is weak, and even mistakenly believe that LED lamps have no relevant standards.

At present, foreign countries have also begun to introduce technical trade measures specifically for LED lighting. On July 1, 2011, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan promulgated the "Decree on Amending the Part of the Implementation of the Electrical Appliances Safety Law." At that time, LED lighting fixtures exported to Japan will be affected by this government order, and relevant production enterprises will also need to respond in time.
