Recently, Guangxi's first high-efficiency energy-saving lighting (LED optoelectronic technology) production base, which covers an area of ​​30 acres, was laid. The new base of Guangxi Guangyuan Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. was laid in the Yanghe Industrial New District of Liuzhou. The base is expected to be completed by the end of October 2008. In that year, the output value could be 175 million yuan. The total investment of the entire base construction is 100 million yuan. It is planned to be completed and put into operation in October 2008. In that year, it will be able to produce 300,000 sets of high-efficiency energy-saving LED lighting fixtures and 5,000 sets of network embedded rainbow digital control systems.
Semiconductor lighting (LED light source) is considered a strategic high-tech industry due to its obvious energy saving and environmental protection functions. At present, the global semiconductor lighting market exceeds 7 billion US dollars, with an annual growth rate of more than 20%. It is expected that the potential market will be 50 billion to 100 billion US dollars in the next 5 to 10 years.
Faced with broad market prospects, Japan, the United States, the European Union, South Korea and other countries have invested heavily in recent years to launch a national semiconductor lighting plan.
