Compared with the same period in 2008, the growth rate was 6.1%.

Notebook 42.6 billion US dollars ranked first in export products

Among the numerous electronic information products, computer products exported 99 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 42.0% over the same period of last year; communications equipment exports reached 42.1 billion U.S. dollars, a year-on-year increase of 21.0%, which lags behind the average level. It is reported that in the export amount ranking, the total amount of notebook computers is US$42.6 billion topped the list, an increase of 59.6%; mobile phone exports reached 19.5 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 21.5%, occupying the second place; LCD panels and modules ranked US$12.7 billion, ranking third.

The export growth rate of EU countries exceeds 60%

The top three countries and regions that accounted for the export of electronic information products in China were Hong Kong, the United States, and Japan. The export value reached 581,507 and 18.1 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 31.1%, 31.4%, and 37.2% year-on-year. In addition, China’s exports to the European Union Exports also maintained high-speed growth, with exports to Germany, Italy, Holland, and France all exceeding 60%.

Exports in Central and Western Provinces are Outstanding

Exports from several major export provinces and cities in China have also maintained rapid growth. The year-on-year growth rates of the eastern cities of Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shandong and Shanghai were 55.4%, 50.5%, 50.3% and 47.2% respectively, both exceeding the national average. The growth of exports from the central and western provinces and cities was outstanding. Chongqing, Hubei, and Hunan increased by 164.1%, 122.2%, and 107.7% respectively year-on-year.
