The Micro-Hybrid high temperature gas sensor is based on the NDIR measurement principle. Normally, the gas detection module works at room temperature (maximum temperature is 60°C). The Micro-Hybrid gas detection module has a maximum operating temperature of 180°C, which can be used to measure gas concentration in high temperature and high humidity environments, such as medical, chemical and biochemical process control.

The Micro-Hybrid high temperature gas sensor is based on the NDIR measurement principle. Normally, the gas detection module works at room temperature (maximum temperature is 60°C). The maximum operating temperature of the Micro-Hybrid gas detection module can reach 180°C.

Due to Micro-Hybrid's high temperature infrared components, the gas detection module can achieve high temperature resistance. The thermopile detector contains highly efficient BiSb / Sb thermocouples, so it can maintain high sensitivity even at high temperatures. MEMS infrared light source is composed of temperature stable, amorphous, diamond-like carbon coating, so it has high film temperature and high radiation intensity output. The infrared light source and infrared detector use special assembly techniques, such as solder sealing, to ensure the sealing of the package under high temperature operation. Micro-Hybrid hermetic packaging technology ensures the long-term stability of infrared components used in harsh environments. In addition, compared with ordinary adhesive technology, solder sealing can avoid the infiltration of external air.

Backfill with inert gas, such as nitrogen, so that the gas detection module can work in a cold environment, the lowest temperature can reach -35℃. The parameters of infrared detector and infrared light source can be adjusted through different backfill gases. For example, the sensitivity of infrared detectors can be improved by backfilling inert gas with low thermal conductivity. When using the same low thermal conductivity gas, the power consumption of the infrared light source can be reduced. The Micro-Hybrid gas detection module can be used to measure gas concentration in high temperature and high humidity environments, such as medical, chemical and biochemical process control, or applications where infrared detectors are exposed to high temperature environments.
