Kodak Releases 4K 360-degree Camera PixPro 4KVR360

Now Cologne, Germany is holding the world's largest Photokina Expo exhibition, displaying the world's latest imaging technology. Virtual reality and 360-degree video have already occupied the spotlight of various technology exhibitions in the world. The Photokina Expo is no exception. In this video exhibition, Kodak released the latest 4K 360-degree panoramic camera, PixPro 4KVR360.

JK Imaging Ltd, a global agent of Kodak's PixPro digital cameras and devices, announced the birth of this 4K camera. The PixPro 4KVR360 uses a compact, one-body design aimed at the fast-growing 360-degree VR video consumer market.

Kodak's previous model, the PixPro SP360, captured 360-degree content with only two cameras, while the new PixPro 4KVR360 avoided this problem.

PixPro 4KVR360 is equipped with two 4K fixed-focus lenses on both sides of the fuselage to capture a full 360 degree 4K video and upload content to Facebook and Youtube via the camera's Smart Device app. It is also equipped with Wi-Fi, NFC and Bluetooth connections, a 20-megapixel CMOS sensor and a Micro SD card (up to 128GB). In addition, Kodak also added PixPro editing and stitching software for Mac and PC to 4KVR360.

Mariame Cisse, Director of Marketing at JK Imaging Europe, said: “Continuing to bring our award-winning 360-degree VR camera with the new Kodak Pixpro 4KVR36 is a natural development process. We focus on interactive 360-degree video formats and hope to consume When selecting high-quality 360-degree VR cameras, they provide them with one more choice.”

The official has not finalized the specific listing date and specific selling price, but YiViAn predicts that the new 4KVR360 should debut in early 2017.
