Diodes introduces two new low dropout linear regulators (LDOs) rated at industrial temperatures from -40 degrees Celsius to +85 degrees Celsius for applications such as set-top boxes, routers and LCD displays. The AP7335 with 300mA and 150mV voltage drop and the AP7365 with 300mA and 300mV drop provide adjustable and fixed output voltage operation with 2% accuracy over the above industrial temperature range.

With a wide input voltage range of 2-6V, these devices offer adjustable output voltages from 0.8V to 5V and 0.8V, 1.0V, 1.2V, 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.0V, 2.5V, 2.8V, Fixed voltages of 3.0V, 3.3V and 3.9V. Its 35μA extremely low quiescent current means that these devices can effectively save power in low power and battery operated products.

The Diodes AP73xx is capable of driving low equivalent series resistance (ESR) 1μF multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) output capacitors, which helps improve stability and reduce circuit cost. The devices are also capable of delivering up to 65db of rated power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) at 1kHz, providing a low noise, high quality power supply for audio and radio frequency (RF) applications. The Diodes LDO is very stable due to its overcurrent, overtemperature and short circuit protection.

These Diodes LDOs are available in a variety of industry standard packages and pins. Both devices are available in SOT25 and DFN2020-6 packages, while the AP7365 is available in SOT89-3L and SOT223-3L packages.
