[Text / GGII] High-tech Research Institute LED Research Institute (GGII) statistics show that in the third quarter of 2015, Taiwan's six sapphire substrate listed companies total revenue of 375 million yuan (unit: RMB, the same below), a year-on-year decrease of 32.7% , the chain ratio decreased by 25.1%; 5 chip listed companies (Yuanyuan no longer publicly issued since August) total revenue of 1.686 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 27%, a decrease of 13.6 points; 10 LED package listed companies total revenue of 3.165 billion Yuan, down 23% year-on-year and 8% quarter-on-quarter.
In the third quarter of Taiwan, the LED sapphire, chip and packaging market declined by more than 23%. Compared with the first and second quarters, the decline was significantly accelerated. In mid-2015, the market had predicted that the LED market in Taiwan will gradually pick up in the second half of the year, and orders will increase significantly. From the current performance reports submitted by various companies, the market has not experienced the expected recovery, but has shown an accelerated downward trend.
In 2015, the global LED market demand slowed down, further spurring the already oversupply market to become more competitive. Taiwan's LED market is weakening its competitiveness in the global LED market. Therefore, GGII believes that the LED market in Taiwan will pick up in the second half of the year or only for some people. Delusion.
In the third quarter, the total revenue of six sapphire substrate plants decreased by 32.7% year-on-year.
According to GGII statistics, in the third quarter of 2015, six sapphire substrate plants in Taiwan achieved a total revenue of 375 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 32.7%. Specifically, in the third quarter of 2015, the revenues of six sapphire substrate companies all declined, with a drop of more than 14%. Among them, Fuyuan Cai (formerly Xinjing Diamond), Jiajing Technology and Zhaoxin Optoelectronics saw a decline in revenue. 59%, a large decline.

According to GGII statistics, in the third quarter of 2015, the total revenue of 10 LED packaging factories in Taiwan reached 3.165 billion, a decrease of 23% year-on-year. Specifically, in the third quarter of 2015, among the 10 listed LED packaging companies in Taiwan, except for Lianjia, the rest of the companies' revenues declined. Among them, Dongbei's revenue declined by a maximum of 44.1%.
