Ministry of Industry and Information Technology to build a number of demonstration bases to promote the development of OLED industry

Recently, the Electronic Information Product Management Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology revealed that the government is providing financial support for technology development to support the development of the OLED industry, accelerate the expansion of mass production of small and medium-sized OLED panels, and promote the development of large-size OLED panels.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will also build a new station area in Hefei, which will be used as a national new industrialization demonstration base for electronic information (new lithographic display), with a focus on supporting panel technology, including OLED. This is also the first time that China has incorporated the new flat panel display industry into the “national new industrialization industry”. At the same time, Nanjing also set up Zijin Technology Entrepreneurship Special Community to take advantage of its policies to serve the OLED industry.

Taiwan is an important OLED R&D base in the world. The prospects for cross-strait cooperation are good, and the future development of the OLED industry in the cross-strait will be promoted. China's OLED industry alliance said at the end of March at the AMOLED industry development forum on both sides of the strait, Samsung is at the forefront of OLED technology, but the "five-star" (referring to China) is working together to catch up.
