Motor control designers have recently encountered obstacles in the development of various applications such as household appliances and servo drives, and must choose between controller performance or expensive prices. Since one of the necessary conditions for market acceptance is that the product price should be attractive, most motor control applications themselves are relatively inexpensive. This also means that it is necessary to choose a cheap controller that can achieve the purpose of the work but has limited functions and low precision. Simple control algorithms such as voltage Hertz constant and six step commutation are difficult to achieve high efficiency and performance required to optimize the size of the fuselage. The DSP-based intelligent controller changes the above situation in two ways.

* DSP may be better suited for control algorithms, but it cannot handle other control tasks well;

* DSP software is very difficult, designers must endure the pain of no real-time operating system and good tool support.
